The year 2020 was the year of the Coronavirus pandemic when the whole world stood still in an unprecedented global lockdown. Upon the easing of the lockdown in May 2020, we packaged some food materials and shared them with some families in Ojo Local Government Area in Lagos State. 

On May 16th, we also reached out to the elderly at Igboelerin Okokomaiko Lagos, including a woman who was crying uncontrollably after showing us some tubers of rotten yam she had planned to eat with her family that night.

We also added money in cash for the old woman and promised to assist her as often as possible; a promise we have been keeping. This was a wake-up call for all and sundry to remember the elderly living amongst us.
